Highly recommended

Emily was able to get us everything we wanted with our custody battle. We highly recommend her.

Visitation/Custody

She made it go in my favor! Everything in the papers were exactly how I wanted it to be. She understood my concerns for the welfare of my child and I could not thank her enough!

Highly recommended

Emily handled my divorce recently. She was very professional, while being very compassionate at the same time. It was handled in a very timely manner, and I would highly recommend her.

communication is not her strong point

My daughter retained Emily on a family law matter. We feel she seriously misled her on the terms of the visitation schedule. She was under the understanding that the visitation for summer would not start till the child reached school age. When threatened with contempt of court and not getting any ...response from Emily, she was force to turn her 22 month old son over to a stranger for 6 weeks. We since fired Emily and have spoke to other attorneys and they tell us that Emily should have had those provisions addressed in front of the judge. We had plenty of evidence to justify the need. Now we cannot use any of these issues because they are prior to the judgment. What I find sad is that people hire attorneys because legal paperwork is not comprehendable to the average person, We put our trust in anothers hands to feel security and sometimes we find the wrong one.

Did not attempt to do the job that I hired her for.

I hired Ms. Reed to do a job for me that required paperwork. I had to do the paperwork myself and take to her office. They mailed it. Ms. Reed was supposed to do a follow-up on this and it has been more than a year now. She will not return my calls or messages.
