Very Prompt and Professional

I have used Ms. Reed for several different types of legal matters, from my divorce to my will. I have found her very efficient and friendly to me at all times. If there have been times that she couldn't help me, she has told me that it is a type of law she doesn't handle and has referred me to someon...e who did. My family has used her for years, and we will continue to do so. The people I have recommended to her have also been highly pleased with her as well.

Very unprofessional

Ms. Reed initiated contact with us to threaten involving protective services regarding the care of our mother. Reed had absolutely no background information. Reed initiated this threat based on our mother having problems finding her car in a parking lot. Even after educating Reed of all the care &... effort continually made in love towards our mother and all the people (family, friends, Church individuals, doctors, etc.) involved with our mother on a daily basis and even after informing Reed that my wife, who has guardianship and who takes care of everything for her mother and who has Multiple Sclerosis, Reed still coldly & purposely chooses to end the conversation by saying that in Reed having her assistant help our mother find her car, that she has in effect done much more for our mother than we have. It is very sad that a few rotten apples tarnish the overall reputation of even the majority of great attorneys. Even sadder yet is my endlessly caring wife crying as the result of a complete uninvolved stranger (Reed) terrorizing her with the threat of protective services. Looking at the other reviews, it is clearly evident that Reed is characterized as being incompetent and unprofessional.

not a good attorney

she doesn't return any phone calls or e-mail. she charged us over $7000.00 to defend us. but then she doesn't do anything on our case. she quits us 1 week before the trial was to start. once she gets your money, then she is finished with you and moves on to the next person to be paid. she is ta...king on more clients everyday, way more then she can handle. she doesn't even try to help your case, she wants you to do all the work on your case, but pay her to be your attorney. she doesn't do anything she tell you she will do, and then she tell you sorry i could not get that done in time now we can't use it in your case. when you go for pre-trial she doesn't ask for anything to be thrown out. she says that she is a criminal defense attorney, but she acts like she is still working for the prosecuting attorney's office. if you want to keep your freedom don't use her for your attorney.

she did not represent me in a professional manner i could never get a returned phone call from her i had to go to her office twice to wait to see her so i could get some answers she had a meeting with a judge and didn't tell me about it i found out from the other party involved about everything that... was going on with my case she required a thousand dollar retainer and said she used 937.00 of it i had to hire another attorney to handle my case she kept telling me she would represent one half of my case and refund half of my fees for the other attorney that i had to hire only to find out she was not handling any of my case and charge me a almost the entire amount of the retainer in which she said she would refund
