I hired Eason law firm for 2000 for an emergency custody case for my 94 year old father who has dementia. I was told it would take 1 to 7 days. I spoke to Sarah on the phone for 5 minutes. All other communications were to the Secretary and the para legal. It was so slow and mistake riddled the whole ...process! We went to court and my lawyer didn't get the one set of documents filled out correctly by the doctor and didn't get it notarized! Her one statement to the judge was ' we did our best'! We lost everything. My senile father is now at the mercy of the girlfriend and her kids who are being investigated for stealing from him! And we are broke! They told us to return 70 rifles and bullets to my senile father. They had been removed because he pulled a gun in his girlfriend and got locked up! So my dangerous father has dozens of loaded guns at his home in down town jonesboro! He keeps 19 22s loaded to shoot out of a sniper whole in his shed. When I ask Sarah's para legal why they had me faxing and begging the doctor to hurry and fill these out and get them notorized she said she had me doing stuff like that because it would take longer if she had to do it! I didn't hire myself! I spoke to Mr. Eason one time. He told me Sarah had earned her money. She was with us in court all day! She was with us 20 minutes ! He screamed and lied and interrupted me seven times in two sentences! The most rude man I've ever talked too! Extremely hostile and argumenative! I never raised my voice . He yelled at Sarah to hang up on me and go ahead and sue me! For what I don't know. Not everyone is easily intimidated! I'm a disabled retired nurse. There has to be justice when someones life is damaged by sheer laziness in court! It's almost like they wanted to lose! They already have the money! Why win?

I’ve never been the type of guy to leave a negative review to hurt a person’s business but I’m sorry today is the day. I’m sure most civil attorneys are mainly used for landlords since Arkansas basically has no rights for tenants. I see he has great reviews from landlords but as a tenant I really fe...el he did me more harm than good. I’ve been fighting a unlawful detainer case for a year and Mr Eason said he would represent me for $500 which i thought was fair. He didn’t prepare for my case or from my point of view had no intentions of me winning. I had to write down questions for him to cross examine as if I was the attorney. I initially wanted to sue my landlord for all the illegal things he did to me but josh advised me not to. Rather than saying I don’t have time to prepare for your case so I can’t take it he basically went in court unprepared and his excuse was that he was new to the case. I had a video that was evidence proving my innocence but he told me we didn’t need it and after I lost the case he didn’t even ask for a little longer time for me to prepare to move. By the way this wasn’t residential it was for commercial property of my business. So I just want to say to any tenants looking for an attorney if you’re being treated unfairly he is not your guy. I’m sure he doesn’t care because he probably doesn’t represent many tenants but I had to let it he known.
