I personally cannot say enough good things about Cody as an attorney. Unfortunately, I had a run in with Arkansas State Patrol a few months back, where they allegedly caught me going 15+ mph over the speed limit on a highway in Rural Arkansas on my way back to my home state. My citation, however, als...o included a Class C Misdemeanor that the Trooper never informed me about. Needless to say, I was incredibly worried about the impact this would have on my job interviews, insurance rates, etc. I reached out to Cody and we quickly got the process started. From start to finish, Cody was responsive, helpful, and insightful — he always got back to me within the same day, usually in a matter of a couple of hours maximum (usually in minutes.) He set my trial date and worked diligently with the prosecutor to get my criminal penalty reduced to a civil penalty - an infraction that is much, much better than my original charge. I no longer had a misdemeanor and the infraction would not be recorded on my driver's record, ensuring my insurance doesn't go up. To those in a similar situation and are debating whether it's worth it to hire a traffic attorney or not, I can confidently say it is, especially as someone who lives in another state. The fee was worth the peace of mind, and the insurance savings alone paid itself off. If I ever get stopped again by ASP, I definitely will be giving Cody a call.
