I hired Robert Knight for legal research with the understanding that he would focus strictly on the areas we discussed, a steep $5000 for this service, However, I was deeply dissatisfied with the overall experience. First, I explicitly asked him not to review my file, as it contained information tha...t would not be favorable for him or my case. Despite this, he went ahead and accessed the file without my consent. I felt this was a breach of trust, especially given my clear instructions. I received a report that was incredibly difficult to understand. When I tried to make sense of it, I resorted to using ChatGPT for clarification, which only added to my frustration. The lawyer had initially mentioned that the first visit would be free, but I was still billed, and the final charges did not match the scope of the work I was led to expect. It felt as though the $5000 was primarily for reviewing my file and gathering evidence—tasks that should have been handled with more transparency and clear communication. Overall, I found the cost to be exorbitant for the services provided, especially for someone who may not have the resources to pay such a large amount. I would caution others to carefully consider whether this lawyer's fees and approach align with their needs.

If you like wasting your money and investing in a lawyer who who will work with your ex wife's lawyer this is your guy. He will do whatever it takes to make sure you get nothing and literally will charge you for the most ridiculous things. I didn't even know you could waste $5,000 that quickly. If I ...could give a zero I would rate his firm as such. Please go somewhere else for God's sake!

Robert was very up front both professionally and personally on how to deal with the specifics in my case. Custody battles are tough and it's good to have the peace of mind that your lawyer has both, you and your kids, best interest in mind.
