She is a disgrace to expertise and professionalism. She will be there for your money but not for you. She will do nothing to defend insults being bounced off the courtroom walls by the opposing side. You are circling the drain as soon as you sign on board with this loser-of-a-lawyer. She is total...ly inapt to express herself as a Lawyer, Attorney or an Advocate. She shows no remorse, and has tons of excuses, for letting 6 years and 2 huge boxes of collected facts get tossed out and becoming useless by the judge. Through my fault of tolerating her weak, inefficient and inapt sorry excuse for expertise, the entire family suffers this loss to predators. Read the reviews, folks and beware. The 1-star ratings are verified because they were me too. She will take your money, and it will be like throwing it all into a black hole in space.

I needed a probate attorney so I hired Rita! Biggest mistake ever!! I paid almost $4000 and didn’t get anything done just talked about doing it. I tried to get them to set a trial site but she just took as long as possible to after almost a year send me a letter stating she is withdrawing from my cas...e because she doesn’t believe I trust her!! This lady is a joke!! Plz do NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT or give her any money!! U will get no where. Her assistant Mallory is just as bad. Every time i got an email it was about 90% about a bill for emails, and just petty stuff. I’m going to try to get some of my money back. Plz don’t make the mistake I did by choosing RITA BACOT and her assistant Mallory

This office rarely has a person to even answer the phone. NEVER will you be able to talk to the atty after the first call and $$ is paid--until its time to bill ABOVE what you paid up front and expected this would cost. Every call that takes MONTHS to get, then goes on for billable hours while ...you REPEAT everything you've already said MANY times before to her questions and get the run around when you ask questions instead of answers. Emails--even repeated --still go answered for months! LEGAL Paperwork is not forwarded? Phone calls are often voice mails left with a machine. Even if a person is there you never hear back when you're told you will. Not even close! I'm now told to expect ANY legal issue to take 1-2 years to handle--no matter what you were told up front. We are into year two now without a court date. Maybe all attys are this way these days, but I don't think they should be. I have to pay--no matter what the bills are--she's an atty and will sue me if I don't. But at what point do the excuses stop and something has to get done?
