He took care of everything; including taxes. I am very happy with his work and his very kind attitude. Incredible aides in his office were compassionate and helpful as well. Thank you so much.

Suspension with Probation issued in LA, 2014

updated on 03/09/2018

This type of suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time, and must meet State ordered requirements. While on probation, the State monitors the lawyer's activities in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

William’s comment:

“On June 20, 2014, as the result of a consent to discipline, I admitted to having a consensual sexual relationship with a client in violation of the Louisiana Code of Professional Responsibility. I was suspended from the practice of law by the Louisiana Supreme Court for one year and one day, with all but six (6) months suspend. I completed all terms of the suspension and have been fully reinstated without any restrictions to practice.”

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2014
Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
