Extremely knowledgeable & best lawyer in Baton Rouge

Ms Katie is immensely knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to help her clients. She even did research about International laws to help me and always provided me with the right guidance. Katie came to court for me on a matter that she wasn’t even required to be there for. I had another attorney present that day, but Katie knew that her presence was needed. That effectively gave me 2 attorneys fighting tooth and nail to beat a bunch of false allegations. I am very happy with the outco...me, and I get to see my baby daughter again on regular visitations! She’s a rockstar. If she isn’t the best family attorney in the state I don’t know who is. Her office is directly across the street from the courthouse. Something that has proven very beneficial in my case. Hardworking, amazing attorney. If you want the best, you want Katie Shoenfelt.

Long Haul

I have used Katie for child custody and support issues for many years. Having been forced to go to court many times for these issues, every time she has been fully prepared. She has been very responsive and understanding of frustrations and setbacks over the years and has given very sound and hones...t advice in dealing with complicated and upsetting circumstances. Katie has had to deal with very uncooperative opposing counsel -- she has stood ground in getting across the facts and obtaining satisfactory resolution. My being in the legal field gives me somewhat of an advantage in knowing a good attorney, and, yes, she most certainly is. I continue to use her and have referred several people to her.
