I hired this firm to represent two cases for me on a contingency basis: a worker’s compensation (WC) claim and personal injury. While the WC was settled with a more astute attorney, the personal injury was unnecessarily belabored. After complaining on the timeframe to get the case resolved, an ap...ology from Eulis was rendered. My case was given to an incompetent junior attorney, Caleb B. who was not familiar with the facts of the case and rarely followed up with me. Several years go by and I’m still waiting. So after that junior attorney reached out with a very disgusting attitude, words were exchanged and I ended up terminating their services, (my UM case). He yelled at me because I questioned why didn’t he know simple facts of my case. However, that isn’t the worst of it, for years, after the WC case settled, I asked Eulis Simien for my percentage of the $10k he withheld from WC. After telling me it would be disbursed after UM settled, he now claims it was used for fees. I was confused because I signed contingency agreement, not a retainer agreement with him. He purposely misled the WC company into withholding those monies from subrogation, so that he could “cut me a better deal with the UM case.” His words exactly and I have email proof of this. Now that there is not UM case, he kept all of my money. They dragged their feet with the UM case and gets mad at me for being upset so they can keep my money for not settling that case. The bigger part of it all, he never provided me with an account of those $10,000 because we didn’t have a retainer agreement. He literally stole money from me. He purports to be a Christian and deacon at church but he’s clearly a deceptive and dishonest person and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up on American Greed. I’m just not sure how many other clients he deceived and tricked them out of their fair share but l regret using this firm and would never recommend them.
