also known as Amanda Hilgendorf Swilley
I graduated from LSU in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology. I then attended LSU's paralegal studies program and received a certificate in 2005. I was then hired by Miller and Hampton Attorneys as a personal injury legal assistant.
After working side by side with Attorney Gregory Miller for 5+ years, I attended Southern University Law Center full time while still employed with the firm. While in law school, due to my previous experience, I received awards in Advanced Legal Writing and Legal Research. I received my Juris Doctorate in 2013 and Miller and Hampton then became "Miller, Hampton, & Hilgendorf."
Over the last 8 years, I have been involved with the firm in various personal injury matters as well as litigation through various employment laws including Title VII and state discrimination laws, Federal Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and Unpaid Wage claims, to name a few.
I have enjoyed helping those being treated unjustly whether its by an insurance company or by an employer. Our firm believes in protecting people's rights.

I submitted my question and she answered me quickly. She also responded to a second question I had regarding a suppressive ex employer. If I ever have a need for an attorney, she would be my first choice.
