I am writing to share a deeply disappointing experience had with this attorney, whom was retained with the expectation of receiving competent, diligent, and professional legal representation. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. The attorney made serious legal errors early in the matter...—errors she openly acknowledged and assured the client she would correct. She asked for the opportunity to make things right, expressing a strong commitment to see the issue through to resolution. Initially, her willingness to take responsibility was appreciated and met with patience. However, despite these assurances, the situation only worsened. The attorney’s mistakes caused significant delays and gave the opposing party clear strategic advantages. Over time, she continued to ask for patience while attempting to address the problems she had caused. Eventually, citing a growing client base and time constraints, the attorney withdrew from the matter entirely—without resolving the errors or taking any further action to rectify the consequences. This occurred at a critical juncture, leaving the client to manage the fallout alone and forcing them to hire new counsel at additional expense, all while a substantial portion of the original retainer was retained by this attorney. In my view, this behavior reflects a troubling lack of professional accountability and commitment to client advocacy. True professionalism requires not only legal competence, but also the integrity to take responsibility for one’s mistakes and see matters through—especially when they become difficult. That standard was not upheld in this case. I would strongly caution others considering this attorney. Ensure that expectations are clearly documented from the outset, and be wary of promises that may not be fulfilled.

I reached out to Ms. Moran to update an out of state will. After meeting with her and discussing my wishes, she redrafted and simplified my documents by identifying unnecessary items my previous will had included. The whole process from initial consultation to final signing was very quick. Compared ...to the last attorney I used, her work was much better and faster, yet much more reasonably priced. I very highly recommend Ms. Moran for all estate planning needs.

Having to update our wills and health care directives to comply with Louisiana law, my wife and I looked for an independent lawyer who worked with family and estate law, who had a practice devoted to client service, and who was technologically up-to-date. The clarity and forthrightness of her remarks, along with her careful and caring listening manner, set us at ease and we knew we had come to the right person. In short order she guided us through a process so we were able to provide the information needed to draw up the appropriate documents for wills and health care directives. Through her use of technology we were able to view the drafted documents, ask questions, and offer corrections without having to return to her office. When we were satisfied that all concerns had been addressed, we were able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner and quickly sign all that was needed. We have recommended Wendra Moran to several people who, like us, wish to support independent lawyers who are committed to establishing caring client relationships and to offering efficient and effective service.

Attorney Moran did a succession for me after my mother's death in 2013. I was a little skeptiical at first because we found her online, knowing anything about her other than what I had read. I made an appontment, my son and I were very pleased with her knowledge and professionalism. She asked ques...tions and allowed us to respond and she freely answered all questions we directed to her. We left the office with full confidence and trust that she was the attorney we wanted. One one appointment with Kendra, I brought my 16 month old granddaughter along. Imagine trying to cope with a baby who wanted to walk and touch everything. Kendra was very caring, understanding, kind and gentle with the baby just as any mother would be. A small thing that made a difference! Looking back, I know I made the right choice for an attorney. The whole experience was very pleasant from beginning to end.
