William Arren Broussard

It is hard to estimate the number of actual contracts and agreements Mr. Broussard has worked on, but five hundred is a conservative number. The total dollar value of contracts he has worked on as lead counsel would total several billion dollars. In addition, M&A work performed by Mr. Broussard has included many sales and acquisitions of equity and assets for a variety of buyers and sellers.

Mr. Broussard has represented many companies, ranging from pre-money startups to Fortune 100 in wide array of matters, mostly relating to transactional, corporate, human resources, risk management, dispute resolution, financing (including several hundred million dollars of capital formation transactions), equity issuance, licensing, and many other types of general counsel matters. He also advises clients on a variety of matters relating to real estate purchases, sales and leasing.

Mr. Broussard is not licensed to practice before the Patent and Trademark Office, and he is not permitted to claim to be a specialist in intellectual property, but he has been involved in many IP matters for software, hardware, instrumentation, semiconductor and other tech companies, and he has also represented companies involved in voice and data communications, including nearly every aspect of those businesses.

Mr. Broussard has helped with many business startups, assisted with housekeeping and management of existing entities, and worked with clients to reorganize growing companies that need to be broken out into numerous entities with each pertaining to a particular line of business or specific assets or liabilities.
