We had the absolutely worst experience using Sam Winfrey! She completely butchered our case and stole our money. She never did anything we asked of her. Absolutely doesn’t know what she is doing. After we agreed upon a balance and put $2000 down and made monthly payments. Somehow our balance was almo...st doubled and we were told we missed 5 payments that we have proof we made so she got mad add dropped us as a client because she was in the wrong. We asked her to do certain things for our case for over 7 months and she never even got started on it. She is incompetent and a thief!

I was disappointed to see how she handles her clients. I was treated like an afterthought, and I felt like I was a nuisance when I had an issue to discuss. She has no time to be bothered by us-the people who pay her. She is very slow to respond-if she even does. I feel that her office staff is in...competent, and would carry on conversations with my ex-which I thought was unethical or at the very least a no-no. I wish I could afford to hire a different attorney as I’ve lost confidence in her. Look elsewhere if you feel you will need legal advice during your divorce and custody case. She is not the attorney for you.

Sam was awesome. She is easy to talk to, she eased my mind right away. To be able to tell my side of the story without feeling judged, was a huge relief! She, along with her team, provided excellent service for myself & family. They always went above & beyond to see that everything was taken care... of & that I understood everything that was going on with my case. She wasn't super-expensive. Her fees are extremely reasonable & she is willing to work with you on a timely payment schedule.

Having acquired another attorney for this case I am astounded about her lack of preperation for my case. After sending numerous documents and photos, she did not have a copy of anything I had sent her, which was crucial for my case. She also failed to mention other options which would have saved me t...ime and money. Takes numerous phone calls to get in touch with her, and at one point it was two weeks before she returned my call.
