Biography
Sean Corcoran believes that family comes second only to God. It is this foundation which guides him in his life and in the practice of law.
Sean has years of experience in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Contract Litigation, Criminal Litigation, and Property Disputes. In his time as an Assistant District Attorney in Calcasieu Parish, Sean gained invaluable case management and courtroom experience. His typical caseload at the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office was 400-600 files, over two divisions at the 14th Judicial District Court, and one division at the Lake Charles City Court.
Sean knows the feeling of loss, and the fears associated with the immediate and long-term future after suffering loss. For a period of seven years in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Sean became addicted to methamphetamines and other substances. Through this addiction, he lost his relationships with family and friends, and became homeless and unemployed. Sean hit rock bottom in the aftermath of Hurricane Rita. By the grace of God, Sean was given a second chance at life and entered treatment. Through the recovery process, Sean returned to college and received a degree in Accounting, advanced to Law School at LSU, and began a rewarding career in the legal field. (for more on that, see )
Because of this, Sean is in a unique position to empathize with those suffering loss of any kind, and uses his personal experience to assure his clients that the future is not hopeless, and they will rebuild their lives.

Lawyer did not care about situation
Lawrence came highly recommended from some friends in other aspects of law, so we went ahead and hired him. We paid him $2500 for a divorce he never filed.
