Kristen Stanley-Wallace

Kristen Stanley-Wallace has been a resident of Slidell, Louisiana since 1992.  She attended Northshore High School, Louisiana State University and the Paul M. Hebert Law School at Louisiana State University.  She received her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law School in 2005, graduating in the top third of her class.

Upon her graduation from law school, Kristen was recruited by Lobman, Carnahan, Batt, Angelle and Nader in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.   Kristen joined the Law Offices of Troy G. Ingram in November of 2005 and became a partner at Ingram & Stanley in January 2009, at the age of 28.

In 2012, Kristen obtained an associate position at Swetman Baxter Massenburg, LLC, a premier civil litigation law firm in New Orleans.  In June 2014, Kristen felt a need to come back to her community to serve its people and businesses – thus began Stanley-Wallace Law.

Kristen is, and has been, actively involved in her community.  Her strong need to serve this community is evidenced in her numerous non-profit and business associations in this area.  Kristen is a former member of Junior Auxiliary of Slidell and Slidell Women’s Civic Club.  She was the inaugural President of the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Young Professionals group in 2010 and is now serving another term as President.  She is also an East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity Board Member and a member of the Friends of the Marquettes.   She was the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce's Member of the Month for March 2011 and December 2014, was a maid in the Krewe of Slidellians, was nominated for the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Young Athena Award in 2012, and was nominated for the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year for 2011 and 2014.   She is currently a member of both the Slidell Bar Association and the 22nd Judicial District Court Bar Association.

Finally, in October 2014, Kristen was instrumental in bringing the Louisiana Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division's Wills for Heroes event to Slidell.  Thanks to the help of several other local attorneys and volunteers, wills, living wills, and medical powers of attorneys were provided, free of charge, to local first responders, including members of the Slidell Police Department and St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1.

Kristen currently lives in Slidell with her husband, Brian, and their Olde English Bulldog, Turbo.
