This attorney failed to maintain a satisfactory client to attorney relationship. I was treated with disregard every time I consulted her for issues concerning my case. She did not have my best interests at all. I had to update her on my workmen's comp case and it should have been the other way around.... She treated me like an unintelligent individual. She failed to treat my case as relevant and important. She is a poor workmen's comp attorney and appeared intimidated by the workmen's comp adjuster. She did not keep in contact with me and it took 2 months to get a name change on my case. She did not explain to me in layman's terms what I would face in fighting for my rights as an injured worker. Her legal secretary sent my workmen's comp check to another client and confidential information of another client was sent to me, that was unacceptable. The secretary was rude and stated, "We all make mistakes!" The checks are arriving later and later and I am now paying late fees on my bills and I have drained my bank accounts and live check to check. Attorneys of this nature are coined"mailbox attorneys" they wait for their check in the mail and that is about it. She failed to answer questions I posed to her. She took 20% of the money I received every 2 weeks and 20% of mileage compensation that came out of my pocket. I had to question many times, what are her responsibilities and what is mine? This has been a stressful ordeal by finding doctors, finding health services, and a host of other things. I was not given quality or efficient representation. I am still waiting for her to find me a pain management doctor and that was 3 weeks ago. I do not recommend this attorney for those fighting workmen's comp. Her snide remarks in previous emails were one of the factors in terminating her services.
