For 20 years prior to entering law school Ms. Vallejo worked as a paralegal/manager in a small law firm in Covington. The firm focused on personal injury litigation the majority of which involved mass tort litigation against multi-national pharmaceutical companies on behalf of hemophiliacs who had contracted HIV from their medicine. After graduating from Tulane Law School in May of 1999 Ms. Vallejo opened her solo-practice law firm.

Ms. Vallejo’s practice focuses mainly on the needs of personal injury clients involving all manners of injury caused by auto accidents, personal negligence, and slip and falls.

Ms. Vallejo’s practice also includes most areas of Louisiana civil law including successions, interdictions, divorces, child custody, child support, spousal support, and community property matters.

Highly Recommend

Peggy Vallejo is a great attorney. She handled my divorce for me in a very professional manner. My ex-husband had what was supposed to be a "shark" of an attorney, but Peggy Vallejo did not let that deter her. She stood up for me and got me everything I wanted and more in the divorce. She is great!!!

Peggy was extremely helpful and supportive during my divorce. She was upfront and honest with me which I appreciated but also respected my decisions. She represented me well in a very trying circumstance. She also worked for my father and prepared the documents dealing with the inheritance me and my siblings received when he passed away. Again, Peggy was very professional and supportive during another very trying time in my life and the life of my family. I highly recommend her.

Child Custody/Child Support

Ms. Vallejo is currently representing me in my Child Custody/Child Support matter. Ms.Vallejo is easy to talk with and doesn't make me feel uncomfortable about asking questions. Curatorship

Ms Vallejo was an outstanding advocate for our Curatorship dispute. She took the time to listen to our case, research all of the issues extensively, and made suggestions that made our case stronger. Curatorship is messy business and Ms Vallejo's advice and counsel made a bad situation better...and in the process ran rings around opposing counsel. I am very glad she was on my side.

Great experience with Peggy Vallejo

Peggy handled a very difficult and delicate civil matter for me in 2012, and I could not have been more pleased with how it went. Peggy was always quick to respond to my questions and gave clear, easy to understand answers. I was impressed with the filings she submitted to the court and opposing counsel.
