Robert Neven Popich

Rob Popich is a 2004 graduate of Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans.  Rob joined Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett in early 2008, where his practice has focused on defending personal injury litigation.  Rob has particular expertise in defending cases arising under the Longshore Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act.  He also defends cases in maritime and asbestos litigation.  He has successfully tried numerous cases before the Office of Administrative Law Judges. 

Through his extensive work in defending injury litigation under the Longshore Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and traditional maritime actions, Rob has familiarized him with the resources, experts, and methods to successfully represent his clients.  His hard work and dedication to passionately defend his clients have resulted in continuous representation of employers and insurance carriers nationwide.  His knowledge and skills have allowed him to be recognized by various organizations.  In 2011 and 2012, Rob was a guest speaker at the annual Louisiana Association of Rehabilitation Professionals Conference where he spoke on the importance of vocational rehabilitation services in defending cases.  Additionally, Rob was a guest panelist at the 2012 Annual Longshore Conference held in New Orleans and he is a contributing writer to the firm’s newsletter, For the Record.

Rob is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and the DOL-Joint Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, American Bar Association, and New Orleans Bar Association
