Biography
Kerry Murphy is a co-founder of Lasky Murphy LLC and was selected for inclusion in the Louisiana Super Lawyers® “Rising Star” list in Business Litigation in 2014 through 2018. Kerry’s practice focuses on commercial and business litigation matters, including contract disputes, wage claims, breach of fiduciary claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, and bankruptcy litigation. She has handled cases in federal and state courts in Louisiana as well as other parts of the country. Her experience spans all aspects of litigation, from initial case analysis to written discovery, depositions, motions, trial, and appeal. Kerry recently served as the lead attorney on a lender liability suit, managing fact discovery, working with and deposing expert witnesses, and preparing and trying the case. She has also represented clients in mediation and arbitration.
