Biography
Kaja grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey and attended Rutgers University where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Journalism, summa cum laude. She earned her J.D. at Seton Hall University School of Law where she served as a Senior Editor of the Law Review and participated in the Civil Rights & Constitutional Litigation Clinic, graduating cum laude. During law school, Kaja studied abroad in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, where she met her husband, a New Orleans native. After graduation, Kaja relocated to New Orleans. She was admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana in 2014.
