A Respected Leader in Maritime Law and Civil Litigation, Dedicated to Securing Justice for Individuals and Businesses
I am Jessica L. Ibert, a member of Lewis, Kullman, Sterbcow & Abramson, LLC, and I dedicate my career to fighting for justice for both individuals and businesses harmed by negligence. I focus on high-stakes admiralty and maritime law, aviation, medical malpractice, products liability, and related civil litigation. With experience helping clients secure millions in recovery in complex, multi-district cases, I thrive on navigating difficult legal challenges so others don’t have to face them alone.
My commitment to my clients is deeply rooted in the perspective I gained early in my legal journey as a judicial extern for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court (Eastern District of Louisiana) and an intern with the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Those roles gave me firsthand insight into how the judicial process works, and shaped how I approach every case with clarity, partnership, and open communication.
What sets me apart is my track record in large scale, demanding litigation. Working on the 2010 BP oil spill multi-district litigation, I helped hundreds of clients recover significant damage awards. I bring to each matter the same discipline, strategic thinking, and attention to detail demanded by those high-stakes cases.
Outside the courtroom, I stay engaged in the legal community through leadership roles in national legal organizations, and I strive to use those platforms to improve the law, better protect rights, and promote fairness.
If you are facing a complex injury or liability case, whether you are a business or an individual, I bring experience, dedication, and the tools to pursue what many believe can’t be done. Let’s explore together how I can help you secure the justice and recovery you deserve.
