Anne Elizabeth Briard

Anne focuses on several insurance coverage practice areas including third-party insurance coverage, general liability, environmental and toxic tort liability coverage, and marine insurance coverage.

Anne is originally from New Jersey. She graduated from Tulane University Law School in 2004, magna cum laude, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, she served on the Moot Court Board from 2002-2004 and was senior managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journalfrom 2003-2004. She also worked as a law clerk in the criminal division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Anne has experience in commercial transactions, vessel finance, and bankruptcy. She currently practices in the areas of insurance coverage and litigation, representing insurers in claims under the Louisiana direct action statute and in first-party claims.
