Biography
"I live to fight so you can stop fighting to live."
I founded DeT Law Firm, LLC, in New Orleans, to assist good, local individuals and businesses struggling with tough times. Through my years of practice, I have taken great pride in helping individuals facing odds that have been stacked against them. Whether its going after large corporations or insurance companies, I have never been afraid to step into the ring and fight for what our clients deserve.
Over the years, we have assisted clients in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to:
- Chapter 7/Chapter 13 bankruptcies;
- personal injury, automobile accidents, and "bad-faith" insurance coverage denials;
- managing/consulting regarding financial reorganizations of businesses;
- debt collections defense, including representation in civil litigation and settlement negotiations; and
- seeking damages under the Telephone Consumer Protection and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Acts.
During my free time, I enjoy volunteering with local charities, such as Son of a Saint, Team Gleason, and Hogs for the Cause; anxiously cheering for my hometown teams (the Saints, LSU, and Pelicans); and experiencing everything that life in New Orleans has to offer.
