My case was the first appeal case MS. Crouch worked in her career. After diligently working my case she continued to work with me never my side even after she fulfilled the requirements of her contract. Many attorneys say they care to gain clients, Ms. Crouch said she cared and continued to care through her work and performance.
I could not have found a more professional and compassionate attorney. Not only was this ticket outside of the territory where she primarily practices, but also she was representing a client [me] originally from out of state. She remained in constant contact with me throughout the entirety of the process and for something as seemingly as mundane as a speeding ticket displayed an obvious sincere empathy to a man she never formally had the chance to meet. The entire course of events went almost verbatim as she explained they would progress. A suitable outcome (from both our perspectives) was reached and a reduction of charges was issued by the court. I cannot thank Katherine enough for her professionalism, integrity and reliability. Should I ever have the misfortune to need a lawyer again I will have no hesitation dialing Katherine's number.
My name is Katherine Crouch and I am an attorney specializing in criminal defense, traffic tickets, and family law.
I have lived in New Orleans for eleven years and earned my law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While at Loyola, I was a law clerk at the New Orleans Independent Police Monitor where I assisted with re-writing NOPD's policy for conducting searches incident to arrest and helped launch a working group to review procedures for responding to incidents of domestic violence. I also practiced in the Family Law section of the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, where I represented indigent clients in divorce, child custody, and child support litigation.
After law school, I worked at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office as a law clerk. I gained significant experience assisting with DWI prosecutions and responding to appeals and applications for post-conviction relief.
In January of 2014, I founded Crouch Law, LLC to provide affordable, holistic, client-centered legal representation in the areas of criminal defense, divorce, child custody and support, successions, estate planning, business formation, and general civil litigation.
I am licensed to practice law in all state courts of Louisiana and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, and Middle Districts of Louisiana.

Donald Theodore v. Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans
The DA dismissed all criminal charges and the Civil Service Commission ruled ordered that Mr. Theodore be reinstated with backpay. Notably, Mr. Theodore is the only S&WB of his cohort who won his civil service appeal and was reinstated.
