I had a fairly complicated case. I entered the states on a work visa, I met my boyfriend at the time here and we decided to get married. He was a green card holder, which ment he first had to apply for citizenship. Along the way we just kept bumping into obstacles: my Romanian birth certificate got... lost in the mail, my husband at the time didn't have his taxes done, I had an expired passport and no other id and many more.
