Professional and Direct

I hired Rives on the recomendation of a friend, after accrueing 2 charges of tresspassing and lewd conduct, resulting from a bit of a misunderstanding and a night of a little too much to drink. He was extremely professional throughout what was a fairly uncomfortable time for me. From the get go, he p...resented me with a realistic perspective of how my trial and court proceedings would go. He was able to work my trial around my work schedule and I never had to actually appear in court. Throughout the process, Mr. Rives was always there for me when I called to answer even most trivial of questions I had regarding my case. His demeanor provided a calming presence in what was a high stress moment of my life. Though I hope to never need his services again, he would be the first person Id call.

Live out of state, but in trouble in New Orleans?

Though I live in Kentucky, last year I got into some trouble in Louisiana. I was charged with felony assault after an altercation and thought that I might be railroaded by the courts into serving years in prison for defending myself in a bad situation. Then I met Mr. Rives. He took a look at t...he evidence against me (police report, body cams, etc) and we discussed some details not in the police report, and he took it from there. I had to stand before a judge 1 (one!) time with Mr. Rives - and that was it. He handled everything else himself without my presence being necessary, and in the end convinced the DA to drop the case. I went from facing years in a Louisiana prison to a free man in Kentucky by showing up to court once and paying Mr. Rives a VERY reasonable fee. If you live out of state but are facing charges in New Orleans give Mr. Rives a call - he will represent you well for a fair price. When I think about the time off work plus the travel and hotel costs just to go before a judge over and over again without your case moving forward? Heck, hiring Mr. Rives probably cost less than I would have paid to use a public defender - and there's no way I would be writing this from home, free and with a clean record. Do yourself a favor and hire Mr. Rives, of I ever find myself in a similar situation I'll definitely hire him again.

Aaron Rives is the best, end of story!

I was arrested for a Domestic Abuse Battery charge. My best friend referred me to Aaron Rives. I've been nothing but happy with the results. Aaron goes above and beyond the call of duty for his clients. He is very professional, and will make sure you understand what is going to happen, and all possib...le scenarios. In the end, he got my charges dropped from Domestic Abuse Battery 2 to Disturbing the Peace, which is basically unheard of. I can also say my best friend had a similar situation, and Aaron was able to get his charges dropped all together. I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Aaron. I'm glad to have him on my side.

Aaron is the lawyer you need!

I got a DWI in late 2014 and Aaron has been my lawyer through all of this. I met him at his office after talking to him on the phone and he assured me I had a good case. He got my case into diversion, has worked with me financially, and answered all my questions and concerns about my case. He even ca...lled to check on me when he hadn't from me in a while. He's been there every step of the way. If you need a fantastic lawyer who cares about his clients, Aaron is your guy!

"I worked with Mr. Rives for two years on criminal defense and personal injury matters. He is an extremely effective and consistent practitioner with a wealth of knowledge of the local judicial system based on years of solid experience. I found that in addition to being an expert in his field(s), he was also unfailingly professional, personable, and able to put clients and colleagues at ease. Since working for Mr. Rives I have referred clients to him whose felony charges were dismissed after his efforts. He is always the first attorney I recommend to anyone in need of representation in his practice areas."
