William G Cherbonnier Jr is not only a great experienced lawyer, but also excellent human who has passion to help people. I was in trouble about my wife’s medical bill which we had never been claimed for 2 years because the hospital where my wife was hospitalized had sent the bill to the wrong addres...s. It was too late to file a claim to the insurance company at that time due to their policy which accepts a claim within 18 month after service is provided. The hospital’s billing department told me that I was responsible for entire bill even though they had sent the bill wrong address. Attorney William G. Cherbonnier is an experienced New Orleans based attorney who proved to me he is a genuine consumer advocate. My family and I were displaced during Hurricane Katrina. We suffered tremendous loses. During a series of unfortunate events we lost our New Orleans home to a bank, I will ...not name. Now, in 2019, the statute of limitations has expired on a particular 2006 debt I defaulted on during the Housing crisis of 2008. I called several law firms and attorneys seeking someone to represent me to have the debt canceled because the six-year statute of limitations has expired. It was frustrating. No attorney would give me the time of day unless I put up a retainer first. They gave the impression they couldn’t be bothered because there wasn’t enough profit in defending my rights as a consumer. The honesty and integrity of Bill Cherbonnier is unbelievable in today’s world but my free consultation in opening a succession would have cost me $2500 unrefundable had I hired the several attorneys I called prior to contacting Bill Cherbonnier.
