Elizabeth Borne

Elizabeth “Lisa” Borne is a partner of the firm. She provides counsel in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, medical malpractice defense, appellate matters, business litigation, general litigation, and family law matters. Lisa’s insurance experience includes first and third party disputes including claims for property damage, business interruption, and bodily injury. In addition to commercial clients, Lisa also represents individuals in matters involving domestic disputes, community property partitions, and personal injury claims. Lisa received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2006. While at St. Thomas, she participated in Moot Court and was an Executive Member of the Board of Advocates. Lisa was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2006. Recently Lisa was recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the area of insurance coverage for 2016. She is the current Executive Vice Chair of the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce, serves on the St. Bernard Land Use Planning Commission, and is a member of the House of Delegates.
