Communication was excellent—always responsive and respectful of our time. One of the things we appreciated most was the his thoughtful and compassionate approach. Wills and other parts of estate planning can be a sensitive topic, but Marlin handled everything with care and patience. His fees were very reasonable for the level of service provided, which made the whole process even more stress-free. Gusman was not my attorney but a family member. Mr. Gusman was very hard to reach. You would leave numerous messages by text, email and voice messages. It would take days for his return call. He was not a fighter for his client. My family was not a drug addict or alcoholic. He was recorded by his e...x screaming at her and judge ruled in her favor. Gusman just rolled over I definitely would not recommend him for a custody battle.

I hired Marlin to handle my divorce and it was the worst experience ever. I didn’t know I was officially divorced until approximately a month after I actually was and that was only because I requested an update via email. He took my case when he had a small caseload, but as he became busier and when ...the community property aspect of my case wasn’t as “easy” as we originally anticipated, he went MIA. He failed to follow up with me on so many levels until there came a point where I couldn’t proceed with him because my situation with Marlin was more stressful than the situation with my ex husband. Two years later, my community property is not settled as he only attempted to follow up with me to proceed after I filed a complaint with the board, at which time I was completely defeated and done. Maybe he has improved his professionalism and work ethic at this time, however, I was completely disappointed with his services and lack of communication with me. There were multiple emails and phone calls that went unanswered and it was honestly a horrific experience for me.

Mr. Gusman Jr truly made my experience with addressing a traffic ticket out of state much easier than I could have ever thought possible. While visiting New Orleans on vacation I had received a speedy ticket for exceeding the speed limit by 23 mph. I had reached out to several local attorneys in th...e area while I had already returned to my residence in the state of Florida. I had reached out to several attorneys but when reaching out to Mr. Gusman Jr not only did I receive a reply immediately, I also received professional advise in regards to my situation after he was patient enough to listen to my circumstances without interruption. Mr. Gusman Jr was not only well versed but he was fair in his pricing for representation. We had spoken maybe about 5 times throughout the process of execution which was mostly handle via email to handle the ticket and it resulted in a reduction to a non moving violation that would not effect me with points on my license. I highly recommend working with this gentlemen as I could not have asked for a better process and representation as he offered. He may only have a few years of experience as his original profile had explained, however I feel as though he is well ahead of his years with how he handled himself with process, professionalism , and his follow through to the very end.
