also known as Brad Marsicek, Bradley Marsicek
Omaha attorney Brad Marsicek came to Goosmann Law Firm with a distinguished and diverse background of transactional and litigation legal experience that allows him to be one of the go-to Nebraska and Iowa divorce, child custody, and litigation attorneys in the Omaha area.
Brad’s legal experience spans beyond divorce/custody litigation into general civil litigation, real estate, insurance law, and alternative-dispute resolution/mediation.
Brad brings honest advice and a straightforward approach to each case. He ensures that each client’s case starts with an in-depth discussion of the client’s goals and needs, which allows him to develop the best legal plan and strategy to meet the case objectives. Throughout the progression of each case, Brad consistently keeps his clients updated with the case status and he is always evaluating the case strategy as developments occur during the litigation process. Brad firmly believes that his clients should always have direct access to their attorney and up-to-date information on their case. Brad prides himself on maintaining this practice model.
Over the past 15 years Brad has helped business owners and professionals in legal matters, with a special focus on representing those clients seeking to preserve their parental rights or assets in divorce. He understands that his clients have worked hard to build their family, career, and/or businesses and he works diligently to protect what his clients have built so that their outcome is equitable and fair once their case is final.
Brad has an intricate understanding of the litigation process and knowledge of the local judges. He brings a business acumen and a better understanding of financial affairs of higher income clients that benefits all his clients going through the divorce process.
Brad’s mediation practice utilizes his straight-forward approach and his experience as a family law litigator to provide a neutral, unbiased, and comprehensive approach to mediation. Brad’s goal in mediation is always to help people reach a less expensive and mutually beneficial agreement outside of court. By reaching agreements outside of court, Brad can help mediation clients craft an agreement that meets both party’s needs, as opposed to having a Court order imposed on them that often meets no one’s needs. The resulting mediated agreements tend to be more durable, lead to less animosity between ex-spouses, and in turn, lead to less future litigation than the alternative Court-drafted parenting plans and agreements.
Brad’s mediation services include parenting plans in divorce and child custody cases and financial mediations for the more complex cases. He also provides collaborative divorce services by facilitating divorce agreements and drafting of necessary paperwork that reflects a jointly negotiated agreement between spouses outside of the courtroom.
Prior to joining Goosmann Law Firm, Brad was the lead litigator for a national-based law firm, and he has handled hundreds of contested divorce and custody cases across Nebraska and Iowa. Brad has extensive trial experience, having litigated 40+ domestic bench trials and has defended and advocated for clients through hundreds of contested hearings. He was elected by his peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2017 and 2020. He is a graduate of the prestigious ABA/NITA (National Institute for Trial Advocacy) Family Law Advocacy Course in Boulder, Colorado and the Nebraska Mediation Association Basic and Family Law Mediation Courses.
Whether you are looking to have to an amicable resolution in a divorce mediation or seeking justice in your civil litigation matter, Brad Marsicek is ready to be the vigilant ally at your side.

Straight Forward and Responsive
I would recommend Mr. Marsicek to anyone. He is very thorough and responsive. He answered my emails and calls in a very reasonably short period. He is very direct and honest with you. During this difficult time, I needed the honest truths and facts. I did not need things sugar coated. I am sure ...

Inexperienced in defending father's rights
I selected C&C for my attorneys based on their ads. Big mistake. As a whole, they are inexperienced in handling anything but the simplest of cases. I initially spoke with a senior attorney and then they did the bait-and-switch with Brad Marsicek. Mr. Marsicek was ill prepared on court-day, allowed ...
At the time the review was left, there had not been an adverse ruling from a Court (and there still has not been a ruling to this day) where I have ever represented a client and the client lost his "custody rights". It is unclear based on the review whether this is a client review. Nonetheless, each custody and divorce case is unique and poses their own challenges, both factual and financial. My track record, experience, and training in handling domestic matters speaks for itself.

Best attorney...hands down!!
Best attorney I could of asked for! I worked with Brad for over a year and a half and he could recall information from some of our first conversations. I feel Brad went above and beyond the normal attorney. He would take the time to listen and understand each situation I had and provide his input to ...

Regarding Bradley Marsicek:
Like a lot of people, I didn’t like lawyers very much. The attorneys in my prior experience all seemed to fit into the stereotypical mold---sleazy, self-worshipping opportunists who charged maximum fees for minimal effort and marginal results on the best of days. Mr. Bradley Marsicek has foreve...
"In divorce it all comes down to the facts and circumstances. If your attorney hasn't put in the time to familiarize himself/herself with ALL the facts and circumstances he/she won't be able properly advocate. Brad is meticulous in all aspects of case preparation. He cares about his reputation, and moreover, case outcomes. This is the type of attorney you want arguing for you when faced with one of life's biggest difficulties."
"I endorse this lawyer. He zealously advocates and always strives to educate himself in all issues of the case. Brad truly cares about his clients and assure he gives them his all."
"I had an opportunity to work closely with Brad for a number of months. His attention to detail and personable demeanor make him an excellent choice for anyone considering hiring an attorney in the fields of family law/custody/divorce."
