Colorado divorce attorney Lindsay Abernethy decided to pursue family law because she wanted to work closely with people and help them through difficult times in their lives.
“I like being able to put people at ease during stressful circumstances,” said Ms. Abernethy. “During a divorce, it’s important to help clients regain perspective of situations that they may perceive as the most daunting or unpleasant in their lives.”
Ms. Abernethy tells her clients that, while the divorce process can be long and difficult, they can still see outcomes that they want.
“I tell them that, if they are strong and remain as rational as possible, things will go as smoothly as they can. I hope that they depend on me during this time to do the best job I am capable of doing in helping them achieve what they want,” said Ms. Abernethy.
