Trustworthy, professional, and understanding

I used Matt Miller for a personal injury case a while back. From the moment he took on my case, all the stress was gone. They did all the work and took care of absolutely everything. Because he's so understanding and personable, I fully trusted him and his staff. Best decision I ever made.

Compassionate consultation with concrete results

Matt Miller handled a personal injury lawsuit for me that involving a bacterial infection in my nail bed incurred while receiving a manicure with dirty nail tools. The infection took hold rapidly and spread up my arm past the elbow area. I was terrified for fear of it spreading to my heart as the med...ical professionals cautioned might d happen if the second dose of antibiotics failed to knock it out. Around that time a mutual friend suggested that I contact Matt. Matt was able to get me in quickly to see him. His integrity and compassion when I explained what happened immediately put my fears to rest. I normally shy away from litigation but this little infection was creating large medical bills. Matt calmed me down and suggested that I reserve my energy to fight the infection while he fought to secure a judgement covering my medical bills and any other remedy he could obtain under the law. His easy manner and great listening skills really alleviated my worry. It took a few weeks of treatment to curb the infection from spreading to my heart. The judgement took a bit longer. In the end Matt was able to secure a judgement of over $15,000 to reimburse me for out of pocket medical expenses, time off of work, and something for my emotional stress and suffering when it looked like the infection would lodge in my heart. To say I was pleased would be an understatement. I have since referred several friends to him which also resulted in very generous judgements. I recommend him without equivocation to anyone seeking an advocate in their time of need. It's not always about the money in the end but rather the compassionate consultation in the beginning that sets Matt head and shoulders above the rest.

Personal Injury

My son had a bad experience and was injured during an assault. We went through the criminal prosecution process but then had to file a civil suit to try to recoup some of the expense of multiple surgeries and bone grafts. I am so glad we researched attorneys and found Matt. As I asked around about... an attorney his name kept coming up and I was amazed I never heard a negative comment about him. He was great. I think he actually does care about his clients. He seemed as if he took my son's injuries personally. He was hands on through the whole process and very accessible. I've heard stories about people who retain big firms and end up being represented be a recent law school grad. Matt was there from beginning to end. He also won the case.

Matthew G. Miller review

I have know Matthew for over 20 years. I practice in the area of corporate and tax. Over the years, I have referred many clients seeking litigation representation to Matthew. I have consistenly received feedback from my referred clients that Matthew was responsive to their telephone calls and requ...ests for meetings, and that Matthew did provide their expected level of service. I have no hesitation on recommending Matthew as an attorney for personal injury litigation. In addition, Matthew provides services as a mediator. I am familiar with other attorneys that have used Matthew in a mediation, and they have provided very positive feedback.

My review of my mothers case under Matt Miller as attorney

From the first meeting to the final settlement Matt showed great concern and sympathy to my 96 year old mother. Matt kept me informed every step as the case progressed. This was mine as well as my mothers first experience with the legal system and lawyers which was a great one! Matt and his staff are... the BEST!!!!

"I endorse attorney Matt Miller completely and without reservation. He is an inspiration to other lawyers in his manner and style - he is professional, compassionate, caring. He cares about the individual he is representing. You won't find a more intelligent and wise trial attorney. My pleasure as a lawyer is to have fellow lawyers in the community that give lawyer's a good name - and Matt definitely does that."

"I've known Matt Miller since high school. We also went to law school together during the late 1980s at Creighton University. Matt's always been interested in personal injury law and has worked in this area for over 24 years. He is very smart and knowledgeable about injury cases of any sort and knows the insurance industry inside and out. But, even better, Matt's a genuinely kind person and is very easy to talk to. As an attorney myself, I have no qualms about recommending Matt to my clients that need his special expertise"

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
