Kelly T. Shattuck

I hired Kelly Shattuck to handle my divorce and I was requesting to move out of the state of Nebraska with my kids. I had interviewed several other attorneys before deciding upon Kelly because I felt he knew the low and provided a road map of exactly what needed to be done in my case to be successf...ul. He did not sugar coat the process to get my business like a few of the other attorneys did I had interviewed and that impressed me. He always kept me informed of the developments in my case and he did what he said he was going to do. The process was not quick as we went through extensive discovery, but there was a purpose to everything. I was equally impressed with his staff who were genuinely interested in my case and my success. Mr. Shattuck and his staff had me and my witnesses prepared for trial along with all the necessary documents. He was very professional and I can't say enough how impressed I was at trial. I would highly recommend Mr. Shattuck and his firm to anyone going through a divorce or other family law matter.

My son and I hired Kelly to help him regain custody of his kids. In over two years he has failed to do ANYTHING to advance my son's case. Yesterday was the worst - my son and his wife spent months to create a forensic timeline, complete with supporting emails, texts, and audio/video files completel...y cross-referenced with notes, which Kelly did not reference a single time. In addition, the counselor for my grandkids was supposed to testify at this hearing but Kelly FORGOT to subpoena him!! Kelly did not refute (by cross examination) the testimony of my son's ex-girlfriend (kids' mom) even though my son was whispering to Kelly that she was lying and he had the emails in hand to prove it. Kelly told him to shut up so he could listen! I was helping my son pay his legal bills, and have ponied up well over $6000 in this year alone, but Shattuck will not get another penny from me after his sophomoric showing in court. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Mr. Shattuck is the best family law attorney available and I would highly recommend him to anyone going through a divorce or custody case. He has a complete command of the law and once he heard my facts, he was able to explain exactly what needed to be done to accomplish my goals. He didn't sugar c...oat the process to get my business. He maintained communications throughout the process and sent me copies of everything including monthly statements showing everything done on my case. If I had questions, he was always willing to call or email me back with the answers. In court he was excellent especially in his cross examination where he really pointed out the weakness of the other attorney's case and where I felt made the difference. He was direct and tried to present the materials to the judge in a simple matter that I also thought helped. His staff was always professional and very helpful. In the end, Mr. Shattuck was able to accomplish my goals. I won custody and the financials came out as he had explained they would during or initial meeting.
