did NOT follow instructions and did things to his satisfaction, not the courts

Multiple issues with this attorney as he has cost me thousands of dollars. A: Should have caught 12K my Ex hid from the court but was in the Discovery. B: Never brought out the fact she already had insurance that met the Federal Minimum requirements set by the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) ... C: Relied upon the Heresay of he said/she said to win the pre-marital asset of the house. NEVER provided any evidence to support his stance (even though the my EX provided it and it was never pointed out) Due to this, I am basically paying for my house twice. Spent several thousand extra in insurance costs and have to split up my bank accounts with her even though what she had in the bank was equal to or greater. We also let her get away with Breaking and Entering/Theft. I recommend finding another attorney

Worthless... Our money down the drain for literally NOTHING.

We hired Kelly in a matter that he did not inform us was out of his expertise. He made one court appearance and literally did nothing to help us. To say he was "worthless" as an attorney for us would be incorrect because we are now in the hole. He was paid roughly $10,000 and is SUING us for anoth...er $2k. The outfit he uses for his collections are just what you'd expect, too: Rude and condescending. To say I regret calling him now is an understatement. My family was financially ruined in the last year, and while we are trying to figure out how to feed our family, Kelly Shattuck sent a debt collector after us to pay him an additional $2000 on top of the $10K he got for ZERO results. The best (or worst) part is that he went after us WHILE we were still in court for what HE DID NOT TAKE CARE OF. That's right. Before even six months had passed - and after he was paid $10K - and after he expressly told me we could work out a payment arrangement, he SUED US. So, do what you want. Hire Mr. Shattuck. Maybe it will work out great for you. For us, though, I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to feed my kids while his collection agency is threatening me with court over $2000.

You will spend a lot of money and get zero results

He charged me over 10x what he initially thought. I ended up having to go with another attorney. She finished my case and cost me significantly less than Kelly. I had more contact with his para (who costs the same amount per hour as he does). He did not seem to know the details of my case. My di...vorce took my over a year and a half. Do not use this lawyer.

Worst Attorney for Child Custody EVER!!

My son and I hired Kelly to help him regain custody of his kids. In over two years he has failed to do ANYTHING to advance my son's case. Yesterday was the worst - my son and his wife spent months to create a forensic timeline, complete with supporting emails, texts, and audio/video files completel...y cross-referenced with notes, which Kelly did not reference a single time. In addition, the counselor for my grandkids was supposed to testify at this hearing but Kelly FORGOT to subpoena him!! Kelly did not refute (by cross examination) the testimony of my son's ex-girlfriend (kids' mom) even though my son was whispering to Kelly that she was lying and he had the emails in hand to prove it. Kelly told him to shut up so he could listen! I was helping my son pay his legal bills, and have ponied up well over $6000 in this year alone, but Shattuck will not get another penny from me after his sophomoric showing in court. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
