Current Client

I currently use Steve to handle my Estate Trust. My trust is still in effect and I have not had to activate my Trust as of yet, but it is my opinion that he did an excellent job is establishing my trust along the lines that I desired and that it accomplish my goals after my death. He conducts annua...l meetings keeping clients informed of legal changes that effect their trusts and promptly makes changes to the trusts to conform with legal requirements. His staff have produced an excellent library of legal and instructional videos, DVDs and on line publications that any client or their family members can access to keep themselves educated on Estate Trust planning and execution. I have always been very pleased with his service.

Trust Client

Steves #1 asset is the yearly Family Reunion meetings, although I wish they could be conducted at a slower pace. We have been with Steve for 4-5 years & continue to gain knowledge from these sessions each year. Also believe his Nuts & Bolts meetings are important. Peace of mind in knowing when someth...ing happens to us that our children need only to grab the Big Red Book & contact Steve & they will be in good hands. Our only wish is that his main office was in the Metropolitan area of Kansas City, specifically Johnson County.

It's Great Working with Steve Brown

Personal attention is the cornerstone of Steve Brown. We have been a client of his for the past six years. Estate law is constantly being rewritten by legislators. Steve constantly updates estate plans with the most favorable estate solutions, yet he tailors an estate plan that will suit any situatio...n. He will prepare you for scenarios you probably never imagined. We highly recommend Steve and his LifeSpan team for anyone in need of estate solutions. Steve is without a doubt, the most affordable, organized and accessible estate attorney in the market.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known Steve for nearly 20 years through the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. I have had the privilege of teaching a number of 3 day Continuing Legal Education workshops with Steve and have always been particularly impressed with both his technical expertise and the caring and compassionate manner in which he counsels his clients. Steve is a lawyer that will take the time to ensure his clients understand how their estate plans work and goes the extra mile of providing a formal estate plan maintenance program that provides ongoing education, counseling and updates to legal documents. He is most committed to creating estate plans that accomplish the goals for which they were put in place. He is both a colleague and friend for whom I give the highest endorsement."

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
