Dennis James Molamphy

I hired Dennis to do my divorce in August. After paying him up front it was VERY hard to get ahold of him. I would call 15-20 times before someone would answer the phone. If I left a messege they would never return my call. It took until November before he finally sent my paperwork into the courts. (...All this time and had only required one meeting for about an hour.) He kept making excuses as to why he hadn't filed yet. (Mostly blaming the court for changing laws.) After he finally did file, I was told that the divorce would probably finallize after the first of the year. I tried calling him a few times midway thru January and could never get ahold of him. I tried again after a few more weeks of not hearing anything. March 1st I received a letter in the mail saying that my case was being dismissed but it did not give reason. Again, I called and called his office to get this straightened out. After a few days of not answer the phone or returning my messeges his phone line was suddenly disconnected. I decided to go to his office. He had moved out. I went to the court and was informed that he "screwed a lot of people out of a lot of money" and there was an open investigation to track him down. I now have to start the process over with a new lawyer and the money I paid Dennis is just gone. DO NOT USE THIS MAN! HE IS A SCAMMER!!

My fiancé had used Dennis for his divorce with his now ex-wife. At first everything was great. It was a rather simple process and was only done in a few hours. My fiancé was able to get the paperwork signed by his ex-wife and back to Dennis. He was given a specific date of when his divorce would be... finalized and signed off by a judge. Well that date rolled around and he thought his divorce was finalused. It took several phone calls several emails several messages to even get back in contact with Dennis to even see about getting the decree. This was done early in the week and Dennis said he would be going down to the courthouse and getting the decree and it would be mailed to us within a week. One week went by two weeks went by almost 3 weeks went by. Throughout this entire time my fiancé had called him left messages try to get a hold of him and had very little success. At the end of almost 3 weeks he still not received his degree yet. Finally when he was able to get a hold of Dennis it was discovered that his divorce had not been finalized yet it had not been taken over to the courthouse yet and there was no decree yet. Almost a month after the original date that was said that it would be finalized, He finally got his degree and finally had it signed by a judge. Now looking into everything the alimony that we did discuss is wrong my fiancé's ex-wife was to receive a certain Amount of money to go towards a loan payment. Reading back through everything now he wrote in that he was to give her the agreed-upon alimony payment as well as half of this loan payment. I do not recommend him for a quick speedy divorce your stuff will be wrong you can't hardly get a hold of him and it will take longer than the original date given to you for your divorce you really get what you pay for.
