I was recommended to Tony Potter by an acquaintance the day after I was unexpectedly served divorce papers. I was in total shock and the opposing side was trying to pull the Ol' "hit em hard and fast". Tony controlled the situation from the get-go, working to de-escalate, identity the facts, and dele...gitimize the rhetoric. From day one, He encouraged peace, common sense, good faith, fairness, and seeking resolution rather than just fighting. These moral sentiments early on drove me to stay true to his advice throughout the proceeding. The case only got worse with time, with the other side digging deeper, going lower, showing more hostility and less compromise. Tony's tactic of keeping to the high ground gave us strong leverage on the day of mediation, and a truly just settlement was reached. If it weren't for Tony Potter, I would have lost every dime I owned. Because of Tony's counsel, I am incredibly proud of the way I handled myself throughout the case, and can accept the final settlement as fair. I have the utmost respect for Tony's moral character and method of operating as a divorce attorney.

Tony Potter provided excellent and timely consultation and representation on my very sticky divorce. My ex-husband threw in significant road blocks through the 9 month divorce process specifically related to his desire for me to pay an excessive and unreasonable amount of spousal support. Tony prov...ided me with excellent advise throughout, and early in the case presented to the court a well organized position and rationale in rebuttal to my ex-husband's attorney's argument for me paying a large monthly allowance to my spouse. The judge ruled in my favor. Tony's preparation and no drama approach to my continued divorce proceeding allowed me to complete my divorce through a reasonable settlement with ex-spouse. Tony's prompt and clear communication to me throughout the 9 months allowed me the comfort (in an uncomfortable time) of knowing we were in control.

Going through the process of divorce is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I feel very lucky that I found an attorney to help me through this. His level of patience is to be out done by no one. One of my most favorite attributes of Mr. Potter is the fact that he always makes time for me, his client. He communicates with me, he doesn't hand his work off to someone else. He genuinely loves what he does, cares for his clients best interests, and wants to be sure both of you are consistently aligned on the case. He treats me with respect, and gets things done when he says he will. The professionalism, work ethic, and level of client care I have received from Tony Potter are above and beyond what I expected. I don’t believe I would be as comfortable with my decisions or the legal process in general without his help. I am confident and no longer second guess the path forward since I have hired Tony. I feel truly blessed that Mr. Potter is my attorney and can’t imagine using someone else for such a sensitive legal matter.
