Stacy always kept the best interest of the child as her first priority. After being referred to her for Case Management, I wished I had retained her as my primary attorney. I was always kept informed every step of the process and I always felt that my case was a high priority for her and I was never ...pushed to the side. Her staff has always been extremely helpful and would help with questions as best they legally could and always in a very timely fashion. I would recommend Stacy to anyone who is looking for a very high quality attorney.

Stacy was appointed to my case as a LCM. After finding that the childs best interests would be served in KS (family, friends, financial, ect) she ruled that the child should live out of state due to the childs "feeling" of being closer to that parent. Since when have we placed a childs "feelings" o...ver what is best for them?

I have been with Stacy since 2006. She is an awesome person and an even better lawyer. She has worked with me in many different ways that other lawyers wouldn't have put up with on there best day. She is compassionate, professional,and prompt with whatever questions or concerns that I have or may com...e up with. I really feel like she cares! She is not in it for the monetary paycheck, she is in it for the well being of honest, truthful, hard working people. She will always have my business for as long as she wants to put up with me.I will continue to send her business. She has always charged me the same rate (200.00) from the day I hired her, it has never changed.

When I Googled Mrs. Ortega's firm, the first review site to come up had dismal reviews- she had a rating of 1.1! However, upon searching a second time, a more positive site came up first. It saddens me that there are more negative reviews about Mrs. Ortega than there are positive ones. I have only ha...d one meeting with her and we are still trying to get everything together to get my case going, but my experience has been very positive so far. During the consultation we sat in a very comfortable room with couches, personal pictures, and other warm touches. Mrs. Ortega did not make me feel as though I had to put on a facade or be nervous; I can honestly say I have never felt so relaxed while speaking to an attorney, especially about such important matters- it was like talking to a friend. She was able to fit me into her schedule very quickly despite the fact that she is a very busy attorney. In addition, she is the only one out of the many attorneys I contacted who actually returned me call. Actually, I am incorrect- one other attorney returned my call but was painfully unprofessional and clearly did not possess the knowledge necessary to help me accomplish my goals. As if all of this was not wonderful enough, Mrs. Ortega works for a very humble price considering her 23 years of experience in family law. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a family lawyer.
