I was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and lived there for the first ten years of my life. To this day, I am a die-hard Auburn Tigers fan -- War Eagle! When I was in grade school, my family moved to Protection, Kansas, a little town full of friendly people, where I spent my formative years and graduated from High School.
My first job in the legal field was working as a runner. After graduating from Wichita State University’s legal assistant program, I began working as a legal assistant in a small and bustling general litigation firm in Wichita, Kansas. Seven years later, Iapplied for a position in the clerk’s office of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and was fortunate to be selected for the job from a large pool of candidates. After three years in the clerk’s office, I accepted a position as the courtroom deputy for the Honorable Monti Belot, United States District Court Judge.
My experiences in these positions inspired me to attend law school. I wanted to take on more responsibilities and have a greater impact on the outcome of contested matters. As an attorney, my passion is to be an advocate for my clients in helping them to achieve favorable resolutions to their legal problems.

Working with Robert was genuinely my worst experience working with an attorney, ever. I could not get him to explain the law at hand, succinctly design or execute a strategy, or provide any value added service in any way. AVOID.
