Norman was born and raised in Illinois, moving to Wichita, Kansas when he was 18. A few years later, he enlisted in the Air Force. While in the Air Force, Norman received his Associates Degree in Police Science while he worked as a law enforcement officer stationed at McConnell AFB in Wichita. Upon leaving the military, he worked at Cessna Aircraft for 4 years where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems from Friends University. Eventually, Norman enrolled in Washburn School of Law receiving his Juris Doctor. After law school, he worked with Accident Recovery Team for approximately 10 years as an attorney, becoming a partner in 2014. Norman had multiple verdicts and settlements which changed the lives of his clients. He is always learning and changing and recently pivoted his practice to focus solely on bankruptcy law. Norman uses his unique perspective and skills, applying them to those consumer bankruptcy practices that trouble the community of Wichita, Kansas.

Best Bankruptcy Attorney!
My wife and I contacted Norman and within a few days had a consultation to let us know our options ahead of time as to which bankruptcy would be the best. His team is very friendly and knowledgeable. Norman made sure when we had our first in person meeting to let us know of the challenges that we would face and help us through those hurdles. The whole process was pretty easy and once we got all the paperwork filled out, the case was filed pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend anyone needing a bankruptcy to go through Kansas Bankruptcy Center!

Great experience
I never thought I would need to file for bankruptcy but as my debt kept piling up it was a never ending cycle. I took a chance and set up a free consultation, I figured someone in his office would call but was surprised when Mr Douglas called himself. He was very understanding and explained the process very clearly, do to covid we did everything over the phone and email. The entire process was fairly painless and him and his staff were all very polite and helpful. I never felt like is was being judged for my situation. I would definitely recommend anyone to the Douglas group.

Jennifer, and sorry forgot other young ladies name who assisted me when I had a bit of a breakdown because my case and monthly dollar amount was being raised. I was so upset and spoke with Norman's assistants and they treated me like a human being and not just a number! I cancelled my appt because my family and I caught COV19 and was a nervous wreck anyway! They reached out to me and I spoke with Norman a couple of weeks later and he was just as kind and caring as his people! You dont cross the paths of many attorney's that actually care about the people they are servicing, but these people actually do. I would highly recommend this group if you are facing a hardship and have to file bankruptcy to gain some financial relief...people forget what you do for them but they never forget how you make them feel. Thank all of you for what you do for the people in this county...God bless and keep you all is my prayer!!

The lawyer took time to understand the entirety of my situation and was empathetic. The entire process was handled professionally. It seemed to take a long time for actual filing of my case but the pandemic didn’t help the situation. Overall pleased with this attorney and would recommend his office.

Exceptional staff!!
From start to finish this office provided excellent assistance. It is a difficult time in life when dealing with unpleasant stuff. However, with the help of Me. Douglas and his staff we got through it. They take you step by step so you understand completely what you are doing. Always answer questions when you email within an hour. Going to the trustee meeting is scary, but Mr. Douglas was with us and made it a breeze! So glad we chose this firm to help us.
