She is in it for the money and does not have your best interest. Ask for things more than once to prolong the case. She does not go off of what you want but what she things to prolong the case. When you question her she cannot give you an answer but will try and blame you. I refused to pay another re...tainer until she could show me what she did withmmy first retainer because i was being charged more than once for her request to submit the same documents more than once. When I refused to pay another retainer without an explanation she dropped me as a client. Stay away!

When you meet Karen the impression is that you have someone that is very knowledgeable and trustworthy, as time goes by you start noticing a few things that don’t quite make sense, but you hang in there because you think she has your back. However, she really doesn’t, she is in it just to charge you... tons of money and she does so by finding ways to complicate matters, which will prolong your case and therefor you have to continue to pay her retainer after retainer, I stopped counting at 20K. She will never admit to mistakes, even when in black and white, blames it on her legal assistant (the turnover in her assistants is pretty high, because she is so difficult to work with). Lies, waits until the last minute to do things, doesn’t answer your questions, asks for documentation and doesn’t use it, makes decisions for you and in the end she pretty much negotiates whatever she feels like it to end it because she is done milking you! Unfortunately, reporting does no good, however, the best thing is to write reviews of your experience to make others aware of what an awful attorney she is and hope others read before considering to hire her.
