Didn’t do his due diligence.
Did not read the history of a case that he inherited from the previous retired judge, Moriarty. A case where The petitioner violated protection orders and drove drunk with the children on several occasions but was only cut once and thereby was in jail in Burlington Colorado.

Very persistent, he didn't give up on my case
I was stopped for a DUI and Paul convinced me to go all the way through trial. After the prosecution wasn't able to get my case ready for speedy trial, he managed to get the case dismissed.
