After a lengthy and thorough search for a trustworthy and seasoned patent attorney I found Mr. Dale J. Ream from Ream Law Firm, L.L.C. Mr. Ream and his entire team at Ream Law Firm were always professional and prompt with addressing my requests. Mr. Ream was always very upfront and truthful about... the entire patent process and I found his fees to be fair. I never found myself with hit with surprising fees from Ream Law Firm as I had with the previous attorney. Mr. Ream expertly navigated the patent process with ease and precision. We submitted our non-provisional patent application in July of 2015 and within a few months we had our first response from the USPTO. Mr. ream worked closely and patiently with myself and my daughter then drafted the Amendment and response to the patent office. By January of 2016 we received our Notice of Allowance for our patent., and Mr. Ream worked diligently to have our patent finalized. Because of my full trust in Mr. Ream at Ream Law Firm, L.L.C. What I liked best is the fact I could call at any time with questions and he would explain to me the answers to them in terms that I could understand. He did not push and gave me the facts that I needed to make my decisions. He was always there for me anytime I called or was back to me quickly. Hi...s staff were very professional and friendly and also were a big part of our relationship. I have a few more ideas and he is definitely my go to guy.

I did not have a good experience with Dale. I was working to get a trademark for an idea that I had and connected with dale. Right away I noticed he seemed kind of pushy asking me questions that I figured would not be asked during the first phone call. After that it seemed that the process was going ...smoothly. I paid dale and everything was going great. Out of nowhere dale emails me and states that there is another company trying to oppose my trademark even though I applied for mine 6 months in advance and also it was only for the trademark name stating that it was too similar to the other company's. Dale told me we didn't have a fighting chance and that I should ask to be paid out. Since I had never done this before I listened to him because i didn't know what else to do. I ended up losing money and only was paid out for about 50% of what I had already had in to the trade mark. After everything was said and done I received my money (after asking for it multiple times) and i started doing research and the company Dale told me about that wanted to oppose my trademark, I could not find any information about them anywhere. After talking to other attorneys over the years about other ideas and explaining my situation with Dale to them they stated that something was off with every bit of the situation. After learning some stuff I emailed Dale to ask a few more questions about the situation but never received a reply. There were a lot of red flags during this situation but I put my trust in to someone else because I didn't know what/how to go about what I wanted to trademark and I regret that.
