I am from Hilsboro, Missouri, a small town about 30 minutesSouth of St. Louis. Growing up I was surrounded by a family ofeducators, but I always envisioned myself helping others in a differentcapacity.

For this reason I chose to study law at the Universityof Missouri in Columbia. As a law student I became a member of theMissouri Environmental Law and Policy Review, a journal published bylaw students, and I joined the legal fraternity Phi Alpha Delta. Whilein law school, I also was given the opportunity to be a clerk for afirm specializing in Criminal Defense and Traffic Law. This experiencedemonstrated to me how lawyers are able to help people who findthemselves in difficult situations, and it was then that I knew thiswas the type of law I wanted to practice.

Following law school,I moved to Kansas City to pursue my career as a Criminal Defense andTraffic attorney. Since then, I have become a member of the KansasAssociation of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

After being in practicefor several years I am proud to say I still feel the same passion forhelping people as I did the day I graduated law school. I believe nomatter what you are charged with, you always deserve a fair trial, andI am dedicated to ensuring all of my clients receive justice.
