In my professional life, I pursue the following roles:

• Trusted advisor, consultant and experienced attorney, primarily working in planned giving, charitable trusts, endowments and donor advised funds; oversight and management of complex transactions, documents and contracts; estate planning, wills and trusts;  and entities, nonprofits & LLCs.
• Strategist, connector and influencer working to bring context, clarity and connection with a focus on collaboration, strengths-based processes, and real world solutions.
• Plain English speaker and writer, focusing on  sparking functional insights and forward momentum.

My day-to-day routine includes:

• offering practical consulting, oversight, drafting and review in complex transactions, planned giving,  charitable estate planning, general charitable tax law issues, document creation & review, trust management, international transactions, wills, trusts, probate, LLCs & nonprofits.
• assisting clients and key leaders in making and executing educated, thoughtful, strategic decisions.
• negotiating & drafting documents that make transactions practical and overseeing transactional due diligence processes.
• serving as a strategic litigation manager, dispute resolution and mediation participant,  and managing contracted attorneys across the US in ongoing complex litigation matters.
• offering organic input on organizational direction, communication, management and strategy.
• writing articles and presenting trainings & seminars, particularly in the areas of business law, planned giving, estate planning, charitable giving, nonprofits and more.
• facilitating and participating in multi-disciplinary teams focused on development and management of projects, systems development and staff/volunteers.
