Absolutely horrible customer service. One could argue unethical behavior from a place supposedly hired to help a person during a difficult time. Submitted a retainer over a month ago and not one email or phone call from this company. No sense of urgency whatsoever and more importantly no communica...tion at all. And I mean, 0 effort to communicate with me about my case. I didn't even receive a receipt for payment. No paperwork to sign, nothing... On top of that, I was told that I wouldn't receive a refund for my retainer. I would stay away from this place.

She talked a very good game but once all the money was paid contract came to almost impossible she used my son messing up on his house arrested to back out of the case a week before court but two weeks before she send my wife a email stating that she would be out of the country on the court date but ...you can find difference counsel I read all these 5 starts and think wow wish she would of done that with us 4real she really left my son in a very bad situation but the public defender has done more in the two days b4 court than Barbara did the month she was on the case and yes we are filling a complaint with the bar

I have hired lawyers in Kansas City, Columbia, St. Louis, Mo./ San Francisco, Ca./ Houston, Tx.; most of them known to be the best & very expensive, most of the time you get what you pay for & you have only one chance to get it right!! With Barbara VanTine things are different, money & business as us...ual was not the way this law firm works. The way Barbara & Heather works is all about truth & justice!! The VanTine Lawfirm took a lost & broken man with no hope and made me believe in good people again, they gave me my life back & a better out look at life. Way more than I paid for or ever expected, God surely has his hand on Barbara, Heather, & VanTine Law!!!!!!! I can never thank you all enough!!!!!

We used Barbara for the adoption of our granddaughter. We had considered 2 other attorneys prior to retaining her. Her work was impeccable, communication excellent and her office staff top shelf. She was not the most inexpensive but we needed the experience that she brought to the table. We had... the additional dilemma of not knowing if the adoption would be contested. When a child's future is at stake, can you really afford to cut corners? Having said that, her fees were not by any means exorbitant, especially considering the representation we received. Barbara and her staff took care of everything including arranging for the Guardian Ad Litem and getting us into court much sooner than we had even dared to hope. She's professional, no-nonsense and just the type you want in your corner when so much is riding on the outcome. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
