Paula attended the University of Kansas School of Law at the age of 21 on full academic scholarship and graduated with a Juris Doctorate Degree at the age of 23, graduating in two years instead of three.
After graduating law school, Paula worked in the prestigious role of a Judicial Law Clerk for a Judge in Jackson County, Missouri. Thereafter, she worked as a public defender, then as a city prosecutor and civil litigation attorney in the areas of tax and insurance defense in the City of Kansas City, Missouri Law Department. Thereafter, Paula worked with a well-known law firm in the areas of personal injury, and medical malpractice. Leaving the firm to raise children, Paula found her passion in family law because family matters. Paula has been practicing family law since 1998.
Paula is a member of several Missouri Bar associations and involved in the Black Female Attorney’s Association where she serves as a board member.
