Bad Choices
Mr . Eastman saved me from a bad situation I brought upon myself. He showed the prosecutors that I knew I had made a series of bad decisions in one night and was truly penitent of those choices. He saved me from what could have been severe consequences of those bad decisions. I can't thank him enoug...
"Jeff and I graduated together from law school many years ago. I have a lot of respect for Jeff. He really knows this area of the law."
"Words don't do justice for how highly I recommend Mr. Eastman for any KC-area driver accused of driving while intoxicated. Knowledgeable in Missouri DWI law, skillful in the courtroom, aggressive in fighting for his clients, brave in challenging bad science and injustice, and able to handle any and every aspect of a DWI case - including taking it all the way to the Missouri Supreme Court, if need be - there is no one finer. I represent clients accused of driving while intoxicated throughout the entire State of Missouri...except in and around Kansas City. Why? I refer those drivers to Mr. Eastman."
"Jeff Eastman is, simply put, the go to guy on DUI in Missouri. He is through, knowledgable and aggressive. You could not find a better DUI lawyer than Jeff."
"Attorney Eastman is one of the most influential Missouri lawyers in the defense of Missouri DWI. However, even more impressive than that, Attorney Eastman is a Founding Member of The National College of DUI Defense--perhaps the single most important community of attorneys in all of criminal defense, and clearly the most important community of lawyers in DWI/DUI defense. Attorney Eastman is constantly attending the best training regarding DWI defense, and he teaches other lawyers about DWI defense. He represents the best of our profession; he is a giant in Missouri DWI defense, and anyone charged with DWI would be smart to hire Attorney Eastman."
"Jeff is one of the true professionals in the area of DWI defense. He is not just a great trial attorney, but he is also one of the guys that has been teaching the attorneys in this State for the last 15 years how to handle DWI cases. Jeff is widely respected by defense attorneys, judges and prosecuting attorneys alike for his experience, knowledge, trial skills, appellate skills, and his true professionalism. This is who I would hire if I were charged with DWI. Carl M. Ward, St. Louis area DWI defense lawyer."

Reversed and Remanded for resentencing as a misdemeanor offender
Western District affirmed trial court's decision
In a case of first impression, the Western District affirmed the dismissal and in so doing recognized the trial judge's statutory authority to dismiss with prejudice where the state failed to show that the requested relief was "unwarranted."
Judgment reversed. Adopting our argument and invoking the doctrine of deconstructive contradictions, the appellate court held the Director failed to sustain his burden to show the first result was invalid or insufficient. License reinstated.
Expungement ordered! The Missouri Supreme Court agreed with our analysis that the Director was statutorily REQUIRED to expunge the license sanction from Mr. Baldwin's history and those similarly situated to the benefit of 1000s of minors.
