Errin Preston Stowell

After a job loss and then a failure of a business venture, my daughter and I found ourselves with no income coming in. Being a home owner and missing house payments, you can understand the fright I experienced as I had always been able to support my expenses. I was recommended to Errin and I have to... say that I could not have been more put at ease after my first meeting with him. My prior conception of lawyers before meeting Errin was that they were cold and only really out for themselves. Well, let me tell you that is the exact opposite of what Errin is. Errin was a wonderful attorney for us at a very difficult time. His calm, compassionate, and sensitive approach was very much appreciated. He gathered extensive information from us about our financial status down to the smallest detail to make a very solid case. He also thoroughly prepared us for ev...ery stage of the process- stayed very organized with all the paperwork, patiently explained every detail, had a quick response time to our emails or phone calls, and most notably, thoroughly prepared us for our appearance with the bankruptcy court trustee. During our time before meeting with the trustee, we sat in the lobby outside the trustee area and observed many individuals who were waiting for their appointed time with the trustee. It was striking to us at how ill prepared most of the individuals were for their meeting. In some cases it appeared that some individuals were just meeting with their lawyer for the first time! We were very thankful to have Errin at our side when we did finally meet with the trustee. The meeting went very well because we were prepared. We feel that we would not have gotten through this difficult time without Errin. We had no idea how complex the process was or what we were getting into.
