We hired Sheena Ann Foye and David Bell to assist us when one of our contracted artists was wrongfully arrested for accidentally driving with his headlights off. The artist was ultimately handcuffed and arrested. He was given a DUI even though his blood alcohol was below the legal limit. It was a ver...y traumatic event for the artist who was arrested, as well as for the other artists he was with at the time (all of whom work for our company). The event was discriminatory and abusive on behalf of the KCPD (the artist is black and gay, and everyone who witnessed the event noted the unnecessary cruelty and abusiveness of the police officers).
